The 5th tutorial of the series is here.
In the previous videos, I have shown how to automate 1 simulation using parameters to make it parametric.
Now… no one wants to run one sim, wait for it to finish, change the parameters and try again.
That’s why I will show you now how to make a simple loop to batch process you simulations so you calculate everything at the same time.
Here’s the video:
What you will learn here:
- How to modify the previous YACS automation to add a Loop
- How to run Aster simulations in batch with this method
The models, files and the code are here
Today, I uploaded also a second video as a bonus to teach how to run YACS without the Salome GUI.
That way you can put it into a bash script and automate even more your simulation process.
In the mean time, if you haven’t watched the previous videos, check them out here:
- Introduction to YACS
- Automating Geometry Creation and Meshing
- Automating Code_Aster Run
- Automating Post processing

Finally.
After so many years, there is a introductory course for YACS.
Thank you very much for your effort Cyprien!
