Modal Analysis

Modal analysis is one of the most basic types of FEA simulation. This type of analysis is a dynamic analysis which is used to determine the modes of vibration of a mechanical system.

    deformation i got in modal analysis is it actual deformation?

      No, What you see in the modal analysis is the mode shapes, it is not actual deformation. To see real deformation, you have to excite the model dynamically with a load in the proper direction and perform a dynamic response analysis.
