So, you wanna know which BTS member went to the army? Well, let's just say it's a bit of a sensitive topic among the ARMY (that's what we call the BTS fanbase, btw). As of now, three members have enlisted in the military: Jin, J-Hope, and Jungkook is not one of them... yet!
It all started with Jin, the oldest member of the group, who enlisted in December 2022. I mean, can you blame him? The guy's been performing non-stop for years, and let's be real, he deserves a break. Plus, he gets to wear that super stylish military uniform now!
Fast forward to February 2023, J-Hope became the second member to join the army. We're not sure what's more impressive, his rap skills or his ability to balance military life with his music career. Apparently, he's been preparing for this moment his whole life... talk about dedication!

Military life isn't all fun and games, though. These guys have to go through rigorous training, which includes physical exercises, weapon training, and teamwork activities. We can only imagine Jin and J-Hope struggling to wake up at 5 am for their daily PT sessions. On the bright side, they get to enjoy delicious military food... just kidding, it's probably not that great!
But don't worry, ARMYs, this isn't the end of BTS as we know it! The group has promised to continue making music even while the members are in the military.
