So, you know how sometimes you just can't help but share your passions with the people you love? Like, you just want to scream from the rooftops about the latest BTS album or music video? Well, I recently had the chance to share my love for BTS with my parents, and let me tell you, it was an experience!
I walked into the living room, phone in hand, and said, "Okay, guys, you have to watch this!" My parents looked at me like I was crazy, but they humored me and sat down to watch the BTS music video I had queued up. As the video started playing, I could see the confusion in their eyes, but I just smiled and said, "Trust me, you'll love it!"
Initial Reactions
At first, my parents were a bit baffled by the colorful costumes, intricate choreography, and catchy beats. They would occasionally look at me and ask, "What's going on?" or "Why are they singing in Korean?" But I could see the curiosity in their eyes, and I knew I had them hooked. As the video progressed, they started to tap their feet and nod their heads along to the music!

As we watched more videos and performances, my parents began to appreciate the energy and dedication of the BTS members. They were impressed by the group's musical talent and the way they could seamlessly switch between different genres and styles. My mom even started singing along to some of the songs, and my dad was blown away by the complex choreography!
A Newfound Appreciation
Now, I'm not saying my parents are full-on ARMY members just yet, but they definitely have a newfound appreciation for BTS and K-pop in general. They've even started asking me questions about the different members, their backgrounds, and the meaning behind some of the songs. It's been amazing to see them open up to a new type of music and culture!

And who knows, maybe one day they'll be joining me at a BTS concert, screaming along to "Dynasty" and "Boy With Luv" with the rest of the ARMY!
